The Butterfly Fairy

The Butterfly Fairy

There is a young fairy that lives by the sea.

Her name is Jodie the Butterfly Fairy.

She had lived in the same place all of her days,

By the sea of tranquillity where the butterfly plays.

One day she awoke to hear the chattering of flowers,

Under the light of the moon, in the early hours.

“What is it, why are you awake at this time of the day,

And why are the butterflies already out to play?

“Look at the sea” The flowers replied, “a path had been laid by the moon,

It is the path of love, peace and light, beckoning you to tread on it soon.

The butterflies were rejoicing, “We are here to guide you along the way,

On your path to love and light, where the sun shine’s every day.

“But I can’t leave my faithful old friend, Mrs Fungi,

She will probably get lonely and shrivel up and die.

The moon said

“If the fungus is truly your old faithful friend

I am sure she won’t mind, her heart will mend.

“Look at all those good souls waiting for you to cross over

The sea of tranquillity, to the land of the four leaved clover”.

“But why would I want to do that, why would I want to leave here”?

Asked the fairy to her friends, who she so wanted to stay near.

“You are so young, yet you are stuck in the dark of the night,

Now is the time to cross over, you have to walk into the light”.

“Come on” said the moon, “you will learn much about love and romance”

The butterflies fluttered all excited “let’s go while you’ve still got the chance”

“Will I be happy and have friends like you, in this place where I’ve never been?”

“How will I know who to trust on this path to a place I have never seen?”

“Yes” said the moon “you will be very happy and your guides will be there

To teach you about trust, on your way to the land that is just and fair.”

“What have you really got to lose, apart from the darkness in your life?

I thought you wished to find happiness, not live with the same old strife.

Why are you stalling? Go on my child go, you won’t look back, I promise.

Say goodbye to Mrs Fungi, I know you‘ll love that place more than this.”

“Alright “said the Fairy “I will miss you all dearly but I must give it a try”.

So off she flew towards the light with the spirit of a playful, young butterfly.

When creating this painting I received the message below...

The Totem Tree

This painting tells the story of how every living thing on this earth is related, it is only through evolution that we as humans have changed and become disconnected from our true purpose on this planet.

Reading the painting from the roots (the beginning of life).

We need to feel true love, passion and have a peaceful mind as humans, in order to function at our best. We live on a planet that is full of beauty; when we are young the vision of nature stimulates us and makes us feel good inside, happy and carefree, all for free.

As we age we often lose the true meaning of life, we become the ones who must look after our young, nature no longer stimulates us as it once did.

We have to learn a new language called making money in order to provide for our young (money talks). It is only when we are firmly rooted and money is connected to love can we be truly healthy, wealthy and secure in life.

On the course of maturity we learn to smell real love and passion, it’s a really sweet smell that enables us to feel alive inside, making it possible to become successful in life, fulfilled with love.

Reaching maturity is an accomplishment that brings us balance of mind, we finally see again through the eyes of truth (ying & yang, masculine & feminine). We become re-connected to our senses, the ones we are born with, the real self, who we were before the intrusion of other people’s judgments were imposed upon us.

At long last we become at one with life and are ready to move onwards towards enlightenment. We learn to trust our natural instincts again, getting on with life happily and listening to our built in warning systems when unsure or in danger, just like a Deer.

Deer are beautiful, communal, elegant, kind, loving, protective and highly sensitive creatures, just like most humans. They can sense the difference between good and bad and will flee like the wind if there is a trace of bad in the air. They are unchanged through evolution, they trust their inborn instincts, their sixth sense; unlike humans.

On account of accepting who we actually are and what our purpose is in life, we grow to be at peace in our bodies and mind once again; becoming the regal, spirited self we were born as. Thus enabling our true spirit to promote well being to others; guiding others on their spiritual journey, leading with pure intelligence through the eye of love and nurturing well balanced spirits.

We are just like the birds that soar in the sky, striving for survival, protecting their own, occasionally feared and hated or otherwise loved and worshipped.

We must respect and understand life in order to arrive at enlightenment, consequently bringing forth the true feeling of happiness.

The White Eagle is the guardian and doorkeeper to the spiritual world, when an Eagles spirit protects you, your mind will become clear. You will be at peace with your existence, allowing you to travel into the light. For an Eagles spirit is free from guilt, shame, greed and fear.

It is only when we are free from the same do we truly start to live and succeed in life, becoming spiritually free and at peace with the world, leading us back to our roots and enjoying the very things in life that are placed on this earth - for free.
